Malta and Gozo are rich
in art and can be seen in the buildings, statues, and other structures
throughout the island.
An exhibition of Art and Crafts is held at the Exhibition
Hall - Ministry for Gozo every year around May and June. In this
exhibition one can see a range of different items handcrafted by
students of the Wistin Camilleri School of Fine Arts.
These include paintings, church
models, pottery, Gozo lace, gilded Maltese clocks, tapestries, wooden
boat models, clay models, stained glass, parchment, tread filigree
(Ganutel), and pyrography (wood burning designs).
