In the small complex, directly on the lively beach promenade of Marsalforn there are similar equipped apartments, each with a small balcony. In high season the lively promenade is locked with a few exceptions, for cars. At the beautiful promenade you will find - right on the water - different, beautiful and good restaurants and bars, one on the ground floor, and on foot, the main shopping area. Bus stops are also close. In the immediate vicinity can be found on the magnificent sweeping bay a variety of opportunities for swimming and sunbathing (partly flat rocky plateau with ladders into water). With the car or bus you are on the main town Victoria within minutes and at all the attractions of the island and the beautiful sandy beach of Ramla Bay, our partner for diving course and diving equipment “Calypso diving” is located in the immediate vicinity (see separate information about special discount for our guests). Marsalforn is one of favourite holiday destinations in Gozo - in the season quite lively but not overcrowded and very expanded. A certain originality still exists today.’Center’ of the resort is certainly the beach promenade at the beautifully situated Marsalforn Bay, with several places to swim. Attractive are also the Qbajjar Bay (about 20 min walk) or a little further the Xwejni Bay, where you can sunbathe on the rocks. Even the largest and most famous sandy beach, the Ramla Bay is easily accessible by rental car - on foot it is about a 45 min walk. In the capital Victoria is about 5km. These eight standard apartments with a floor space of approximately 50m2 spread over four levels. All apartments are similarly equipped and have a fantastic sea view over the Bay of Marsalforn. Three new apartments (built July 2015) located a quieter side street in Victoria. The generous - almost identical - apartments are in the 1st and 2nd floor (no lift) and can accomodate 6 persons each. Beautiful, equipped balcony. Approximately 1km from village center.The 3rd floor is the penthouse accommodate 6 persons each. With a big terrace a lovely view of the island but also to the sea.On the terrace you can relax. You can also grill here. Bus stop nearby. Most beautiful and largest sandy beach, the ‘Ramla Bay’ in about 5 km distance. The photos show the penthouse and the apartment on the second floor. The apartment on the first floor is almost identical, even the furniture, as well as the nice balcony. Victoria is the capital of Gozo having about 7000 residents. By 1887, the city bore the Arab name Rabat, which translates as “suburb”(not to be confused with Rabat in Mdina on the main island of Malta). It is located in the center of Gozo. Victoria is also the center of life on the island and its cultural center. Center of Victoria is situated high above the town of Citadel, which was therefore about 1500 dating back to the Bronze Age, BC. Of the fortifications, you have a wonderful view over the island. In the citadel is located next to a museum, the Cathedral of Gozo and the courthouse. Also worth seeing is the in the center lying, baroque Basilica San Gorg of St. George. This dars back to the Middle Ages. but gpt om 1818 a new facade and in 1958 was elevated by Pope Pius XII to the Basilica. She is also known as the”golden church” and is entirely covered with marble. Moreover particularly richly endowed with remarkable paintings and statues.
These three new apartments are almost identical and each have 3 bedrooms - one with double bed, the other two with two single beds. Two separate bathrooms with shower / toilet or bathtub / shower / WC. From the large kitchen opens directly onto the beautiful, about 5m2 large balcony. This is equipped with table and chairs and invites you to eat, as well as to relax. Another small balcony at the back. The kitchen has a cozy sofas with satellite TV. The kitchen with spacious dining area is good and fully equipped - among others with a refrigerator / freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle and washing machine.
