AFM coordinates the rescue of 9 persons in Malta’s Search and Rescue Region

The Malta Rescue Coordination Centre was in the past hours involved in a search and rescue operation around 300 miles South East of Malta. A corpse recovered during the operation is expected to be transported to Malta onboard a merchant vessel in the hours to come.
