Malta registers trade in goods deficit of €0.7 bn

In August, the 12-month moving average rate of inflation stood at 2.28%, while the annual rate stood at 2.25%. Hourly labour costs in the euro area (EA17) rose by 1.6% in the year leading up to June 2012 compared with 1.5% for the first quarter of 2012.
