AFM reject accusation that Malta did not help 44 Somalis adrift in a rubber dinghy

The Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) today denied claims by UNCHR spokesman Adrian Edwards that Malta refused to help 44 Somali migrants adrift on a rubber dinghy four days ago. They were eventually picked up by the Italian naval ship Foscari 55 miles south of Lampedusa.
