Malta's volunteer fire companies reconsider shared station plan

MALTA — Less than a month after the town’s two volunteer fire companies nixed their plans to build a shared fire station in downtown Malta, fire officials are saying they’re again interested in pursuing the project — at a location they hope will be less controversial.
