Strasbourg judges say Malta must provide tribunal to challenge care orders

Care orders in Malta can only be revoked by the social policy minister, which the ECHR said should be challengeable in a court of law. A mother convicted of neglecting her children won the backing of Strasbourg judges who agreed that Malta had breached protection of family life laws.
