Malta scores high in EU-27 inflation rate scoreboard

According to Eurostat, the Euro area annual inflation stood at 2.4% in June, unchanged when compared with May. In June 2011, the rate was 2.7%. On the other hand EU annual inflation, stood at 2.6% in June, up from 2.5% in May. A year earlier, the rate was 3.1%.
