Malta Planning Board OKs GlobalFoundries expansion

MALTA — GlobalFoundries has the final piece of governmental approval needed to construct an expansion of its $4.6 billion computer chip manufacturing plant in the Luther Forest Technology Campus, but company leaders have yet to formally authorize the proposed expansion.
