Food prices inflation in Malta double that of euro area

The cost of living in Malta in June 2012 rose by 4.4% since June 2011 while in the rest of the countries in the euro area it rose by 2.4% On 16 July 2012 the European Central Bank published the annual consumer price inflation rate, the percentage change in consumer prices from June 2011 for the euro area and the euro area countries.
