Updated: Banif Malta not affected by Group restructuring, €1.1bn bailout request

Banif Malta is not expected to be affected by the Group's restructuring and recapitalisation process. Banif Group issued a notice on New Year’s eve saying that the bank is requesting that €1.1 billion are injected by June 2013.
