Malta expands double tax treaty with Uruguay

Malta’s double taxation avoidance treaty with Uruguay came into force this week after being signed in March 2011. Over the past years, Government has worked to expand its already extensive tax treaty network. The agreement with Uruguay is indeed the first DTA with any Latin American country.
