Kon-Tiki: shot in Malta nominated for Best Foreign Language Film

‘Kon-Tiki’, a film mainly shot in Malta, based on a true story about the crossing of the Pacific Ocean on a balsa wood raft in 1947 by six Scandinavian men led by the Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl, has just been nominated for the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film.
