S&P downgrades Malta by one notch - EU criticizes credit downgrading

Malta's credit rating has been downgraded to A- , leaving the country among the worst performing in the EU . Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain, economies deemed as performing poorly in the EU, all have better credit ratings than Malta according to S&P.
