Malta ranks low in tertiary age employment in the EU27

According to Eurostat statistics the employment rate for persons aged 60-64 increased from 23% in 2000 to 31% in 2010 and from 50% to 61% for those aged 55-59. Malta ranks was one of the lowest amongst the EU27 member states in tertiary age employment.
