High waves force Gozo Channel to cancel trips

Gozo Channel had to cancel a number of trips this morning as high waves at Cirkewwa made it difficult for the ferry to berth, di-ve.com is informed. Sources told di-ve.com that an attempt was made to berth at Cirkewwa but the heaving seas caused the ferry to snap mooring ropes.
