10 millionth bird in ringing database ringed in Malta

A Barn Swallow ringed locally by BirdLife Malta researchers was the 10 millionth entry on the EURING database. The Barn Swallow is one of many species linking Malta to 48 countries through bird migration. Archive photo by Aron Tanti.
