Thunderstorms, hail rain down on Malta and Gozo

Showers have rained on Gozo and the northern part of Malta, with the Meteorological Office forecasting further thunderstorms and rain. After months of dry weather, rain, lightning were forecasted to hit Malta. Rain and thunder are expected to continue throughout the day.
