Malta Town Board paves way for next GlobalFoundries plant

MALTA — After nearly 60 meetings with GlobalFoundries and a final public hearing, the Malta Town Board Monday unanimously approved legislation that would enable the computer chip manufacturer to build a second, larger facility.
