On 2nd April 2014, Malta together with Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and the United Kingdom and El Salvador ratified the Arms Trade Treaty.
