Italy insisting Malta rescues 600 migrants on boat just 40 miles from Lampedusa

The Italian Coast Guard is insisting that Malta should rescue an estimated 600 migrants who have launched an SOS from aboard a boat just 40 miles from the island of Lampedusa and 80 miles from Malta.
